Jamie: I'm Jamie and I live in Newick. I had a three-bedroom semidetached house and I wanted to downgrade to a bungalow for my partner's health reasons. I looked at the local estate agents who came and gave me varied prices to sell and pass on the property before selling. Then I came across Springbok on Facebook.

A bit skeptical, I took the phone, gave them a ring and a lady called Los called me back. She came out, had a look around the house, did a valuation and explained what their process was for the set price, which is the one I was interested in. And still really unsure, a nice lady came again came back. My daughter came to the house just to make sure it was all above board. My daughter Jenna was very happy with it so we went with Springbok.

I used their solicitor who sold my property and I also used their recommendations for buying my property, so it's all in-house and it's quite simple.

Jamie: Springbok was easy to use. They sorted the viewings for the house and they came in for the viewings. The process after that was quite simple. They organized the surveyor who came again at my leisure for work commitments. He did the process, an offer was put in for me to see if I was happy with it and because I was on a fixed price, that was great. The process after that was contact was made when the offer was made to see if I was happy. Then we did the surveys and the solicitors did the exchange of contracts, the paperwork was sent/ And because I'm not good on the phone, everything was sent to me in paper form so I could read it and keep a copy. And because I had difficulties with the internet, if my daughter wasn't there I just couldn't complete any paperwork. So they actually were very good and sent me the paperwork. Anny rang me to make sure I understood it and was happy with it, and she was there if I was struggling with any of the bits to be able to get them signed. I sent them all back registered post and when she'd received them, she got back in contact with me and told me what the next step in the process would be. Right up until the day of moving, they kept in contact with the estate agent I was buying from and they conversed with Springbok. That helped the smooth transition.

With Springbok also, when you actually sell the property, you don't have a solicitor fee because Springbok, it's in the package. And you don't have an estate agent fee because that's in the package. So you only have the actual solicitor's fee for the new property that you buy, which was very good and that was a vast saving. Plus, the valuation I got from Springbok was more than the local estate agent. All in all, it was a really good sale and it was completed within 12 weeks.
